The Man Behind the Salsa

If you love salsa enough to create a website dedicated to it, raise your hand. Just me? I guess that warrants an introduction.

You can call me SalsaGuy2000. As you might have guessed, I’m a salsa fanatic. My zest for salsa started back when I was just a kid. My vote for a night out was always our local Mexican restaurant, where I could indulge my cravings with bottomless salsa.

Since then, my palate has developed a lot. I now appreciate salsa for its sheer variety. It can be sweet or savory, crunchy or smooth, and a whole rainbow of colors. What other condiment does that? Plus, I love the rich cultural history of salsa.

My deep love for salsa has extended to my family, including my wife and daughter. (I have to admit, our two pugs, Paco and Prudence, are not fans.)

We love great deals almost as much as we love salsa, so we do all of our shopping at Sam’s Club. Our weekly grocery trips always include a pitstop at the salsa aisle. We’re always excited when there’s a new variety to try, but we’re just as happy to put our trusty Member’s Mark salsas in our cart.

Now that I’ve initiated my family into the salsa fan club, I’m ready to take on the internet. That’s why I created this blog. I want to share all the saucy secrets I’ve cooked up in my kitchen using salsas, including recipes, salsa reviews, and interesting facts about salsa. (For example, did you know that chips and salsa are the official state snacks of Texas?)

Whether you’re an enthusiast like myself or you’re just dipping your chip into the big world of salsa, welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
